100 Years of Service
Farmers Bank has a long tradition of employees stepping outside the bank to become involved in service to our communities. Whether it is packing supplies for disaster relief, engaging in financial literacy events with our local schools, or serving food to the hungry, we strive to give back to the communities we serve.
In 2018, our 100th year of operation, Farmers Bank employees contributed nearly 500 hours of their time volunteering. Partner organizations and events have included FACES Food Pantry in Farmville, Lynchburg Daily Bread, the Appomattox County Library Association, and our ongoing partnership with Gleaning for the World in Concord, among many others. We look forward to 2019 as another year to serve.
